Meatless Monday: Amazing Grass Protein Superfood Citrus Smoothie

July 11, 2016

Protein powders come in all different flavors, compositions, and even textures. I like trying new ones and seeing which works best for me and my family. I’ve found several that I like. I use them in everything from sauces to smoothies and I plan on using some of them for baked goods in the fall.

A recent test of Amazing Grass Protein Superfood has yielded fantastic results. Amazing Grass Protein Superfood contains a blend of organic pea, hemp, chia and quinoa.

Amazing Grass Protein Superfood | Product Review | Running on Happy

This post is sponsored by Amazing Grass. All opinions, photos, reviews, and recipes are my own.

Admittedly, I was skeptical of what Amazing Grass was going to taste like. I’ve experienced “superfood” protein powders before that were very displeasing to the palate. Fortunately I was very pleasantly surprised by Amazing Grass. The Protein Superfood has an almost ‘soft’ texture. It blends very well into smoothies and the flavor is very mild which makes it very easy to incorporate into just about anything. My family and I are really enjoying it!

I’ve never tried amazing grass protein before. I am all about the plant based goodness. Is it sweetened?

The original (that I have) is not sweetened. I’m not sure about the other flavors but I think there may be some sweetener, though I’m really not sure.

I haven’t had Amazing Grass in a couple years I think I might need to try it again. Thank you for linking up with us for Meatless Monday. Sorry time got away and it’s late on the Cali coast and I didn’t get a chance to link up with you and Annmarie. Next week I’ll be back home and hopefully back on schedule.

They all sound wonderful and a fabulous source of vegan protein! I’d like to taste the original without any flavor so I could whip up my own recipes and it sounds more versatile for lots of things. Thank you so much!
