Inspirational Quotes for Courage and Motivation

April 6, 2018

I like to use inspirational quotes for courage, power, and drive. Enjoy this quick read and some of my favorite inspirational quotes!

I like to use inspirational quotes for courage, power, and drive. Enjoy this quick read and some of my favorite inspirational quotes!

Truth time. Brutal, honest, raw. I struggled hard with having no theme for the Friday Five 2.0 this week. It could be because my daughter’s been home on spring break this week and I played “vet” all afternoon and didn’t have time to think about blogging. Or it could be that when given free rein my creative juices simply stop flowing.

Nevertheless, I persisted and finally decided on a topic. I think this will be both a quick and meaningful read. That’s the goal anyway.

Every now and again I like to share some of my favorite quotes. I use quotes to gather inspiration, courage, and/or power. The idea of having inspirational wall quotes in your home may be something worth considering, especially if you have been feeling unmotivated lately and need that little bit of encouragement. We can all do with motivation once in a while. Today I selected a few of my favorites that hopefully prove to be useful to you as well. Enjoy!

Inspirational Quotes for Courage and Motivation

You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream. –C.S. Lewis

Every morning in Africa a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must move faster than the lion or it will not survive. Every morning a lion wakes up and it knows it must move faster than the slowest gazelle or it will starve. It doesn’t matter if you are the lion or the gazelle. When the sun comes up, you better be moving. –Maurice Greene

The only one who can tell you ‘you can’t’ is you. And you don’t have to listen. –Nike

The reason we race isn’t so much to beat each other, but to be with each other. –Christopher McDougall

Do one thing every day that scares you. –Eleanor Roosevelt

'You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.' –C.S. Lewis #inspiration #motivation #goals #achieve #believe

I love quotes & inspiration.

Since I haven’t been blogging as long as many, I don’t usually have trouble with topics. Although we all struggle sometimes. Like I struggle to make a short post. 🙂

IT’s interesting that you quoted Nike, because I often find myself saying “Just do it!”

I especially relate to the last one this week. I think a huge part of the race for me is to be with my friends that I trained with and watch each other accomplish our goals. Thanks for the linkup

Did it make you crazy to only have 2 things for the Friday 5? LOL…

That CS Lewis quote is especially pertinent for my life right now!

Coming up with 5 things for Friday is ingrained in me. Haha! I recently saw an interview with a woman who claimed Nike stole “just do it” from her. Now I forget who it even was.

My favorite is “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right.” Henry Ford. So much of running (and life) is about what you believe you can do!

I still did 5! 😉

There are a lot of great quotes. I feel like people can get in their own way. Just get out of the way, and see what you can do.
