Hi, I’m Rachel!
I’m an RRCA Certified Running Coach, and a healthy lifestyle advocate. My interests lie in helping others achieve their goals through sports and nutrition. I’ve been running since 2010 and I continue to improve with each training run and race. My passion is teaching others how to train efficiently and effectively.
I’m active in both my local running and parenting communities. I run a medium-sized social group for parents and their kids, and have formed friendships that will last for many years to come. I’m inspired on a daily basis by so many people around me. My hope is to inspire them back. I want to set a superior example of healthy living for my children, and I very much want them to become athletic and active as they grow. I’m always challenging myself and setting new goals. I can’t wait for my next PR, and even though I’m bummed if I don’t get one, I know there’s only one way to the top — training.
My blog, Running on Happy, is a reflection of the journey of my life — who I am, how I got here — and the trials and tribulations of healthy living and navigating parenthood. Follow me and hopefully I can inspire you, too!
